I am putting together an AIR (smog) pump system for a small block '69. I see that the lower mounting bracket (the orange one) is part number 3923214. I have been unable to find the part number for the other bracket, the black adjusting bracket. It is not in the NCRS manual. Any help?
(insert obligatory **** church of the matching numbers worshipper joke here)

Smog parts
When I restored a 72 A/C LT-1 coupe, I found some of the smog
parts in junkyards. The smog was fairly rare with them mostly being in CA except for the SHP engines.
I am not sure how many junk yards will still let you wander around, but, that is where I found the hairpins and choke rods that were used on the early 70s Vettes. They were used on all Chevys. Also, the voltage regulators from the 60s were not Corvette specific and you could find date coded regulators for $3! Junkyards used to be a great source for parts.

Yeah, I think you are right. I believe most of the Chevy motors of the era used the same AIR parts as the Corvette, which was standard on all the cars that year. CA seemed to be the only state that made them use them as everyone else threw them away as fast as they could!

My first new car was a 68 Camaro......pulling the air pump was one of the first things I did.....made that car run much cooler/better......but I wish I had kept it....the car and the pump.
