I thought I had the pictures of my interior loaded on my CF webpage but I cannot find them. Here are the two that I do have handy. I'll add more tonight or tomorrow.
Here are a couple pictures of '00+ Toyota Celica seats sitting in my car before mounting them.
I bought a 80 a while back with tan interior and switched it to black. I used vinyl spray to spray the parts i could salvage. I mostly ended up spending money on new carpet, seats, door panels, a dash cap and a few little custom touches. Here is some pics from my album.
BTW i did this with no experience with anything. The only thing i knew how to do was put gas in a car.
It ended up catching fire going down the highway because of an electrical short. GET A FIRE EXTINGUISHER!

Unfortunately my g/f is an interior designer and doesnt like black with a bright red like that ... so that is a no go. I was black leather seats anyways. Nothing like the searing of flesh to a leather seat after a day in the hott summer sun

well, designers usually use contrasts to highlight colors or styles, like using an antique furniture piece into a techno ambient...or a bright color among greys or blacks...

That's the exact reason I purchased cloth seats.
My car started life as Burgandy/Oyster. At some point the exterior was changed to blue and the interior had two color changes, first to burgandy and then to black. When I got the car what remained of the interior was black. I figured I had the choice of what interior color I wanted and I really liked the dark blue ext. with the black interior. My wife went all fashion police on me and said you can't use black and blue together. I said "watch me" and placed my order for black panels, carpet, etc. I get a lot of compliments on the color combo.
