Default ??? Front end Suspension

Finally have enough $$$ saved to get the front end of my 71 A/C Coupe done. Would like some recommendations what supplier or brand of front end parts to use?

Was considering going with http://www.duntovmotors.com/
The front end shop that is going to do the work prefers/suggests Moog ball joints.

I want to go with Poly. bushings and keep it in driver quality.

Check out Van Steel and Vette Brakes and Products. They are both forum vendors. I bought a suspension kit from VB&P and a front end rebuild kit from Van Steel. I doubt that you will hear one negative comment about either company.

As a friendly item for future reference, the mods generally prefer if you don't post the same question in both C3 Tech and C3 Gen.

I know Batman and I would agree but on this topic... It is interesting as there are two very different groups in each forum (Tech and General) and this is one of those areas where it is good to get input from both sides of the fence so to speak. It is not something I would normally do.

I just purchase a rear suspension kit, front sway bar and bilstien shock from Vette Brakes and Parts. They are running various discounts throughout the month for their 30th anniversery.

I got my front suspension rebuild kit from VBP (poly). I forget the make on the ball joints but they were American made, not offshore junk. No complaints here at all. I think if I were to do it again I would have gone with the rubber not poly. If you go with poly, make sure your shop uses red loctite on the control arm bolts or you could get an ugly suprise one day. Unlike rubber, the poly control arm bushings can cause the bolts to loosen if not torqued properly and loctite used on the bolt threads. I found that out first hand and it isn't fun.

Default All Usa

Times are getting harder and harder to keep all American parts, but you can be assured that VBP is doing all it can to provide USA parts whenever possible.

We have DANA ball joints and tie rod ends and if we cannot get them, we move into Moog.

NO FOREIGN PARTS ON AMERICA'S SPORTS CAR
