quick 68 ? for the ncrs kinda guy
I thought about putting lock washers but this is a NCRS restoration so I'm being picky about even little stuff like this..
thanks

They are similar to what is used on the half shafts at the wheel end.
Go to www.ncrs.org and go into the Technical Discussion Board and you can get all the info you need for your 68
If you have specific questions, PM me as I just finished a 10 year restoration of my 68 and I have the NCRS Technical Guides/Judging Manual for the 68 along with tons of other books I used .
Mine was built May 10, 1968; when was yours built?
Coupe or Convertible?
Kurt
November 7 , 67 is correct.
The french locks you can get from Dr. Rebuild or pretty much any of the after market vendors.
I suggest you get all of their catalogs so that what one does not have you can get from the other
Dr. Rebuild charges for his catalog and then refunds that on your first order.
His catalog is almost like an assembly manual so it is worth every penny and he has the stuff in stock while my personal experience has been that lots of the other guys have to order it and that means you wait.
I don't like to wait so I use Dr. Rebuild, and his stuff is correct which is also very important to me for all the time and money I have spent on my car.
I don't want some Taiwan crap on my Corvette that will break when you touch it. It is after all an AMERICAN sports car not a 68 chinese piece of crap.
