I found an old ad that I placed to sell my 69 427/435 Vette 10 years ago and I could not sell the car I even reduced the price to $19,000 and could not sell it. I still have the car and it has been repainted and new interior, and all new suspension. The Vette is a numbers matching car with tank sticker, owners history, and original owners manual.

Nice little piece of history there. I am guessing $19k would see a buyer come your way now.

Here are a couple ads from the April '84 issue of Hemmings.

Corvette: 1969 coupe, 427, 435, L-71, tri-power, 4-spd, factory 4.11 heavy duty suspension, riverside gold, black interior, new lacquer, tires, stainless brakes, perfect chrome, original interior is perfect, original engine, all numbers match, asking $10,300 OH

Corvette: 1969 T-top, 18,000 original miles, air, ps, auto, pb, pw, 300 hp, 350, white w/black interior, sharp, must sell, $9,500 or offer. NY
