Where did you get painted wheels? I find it hard to believe they are painted and not powder coated or even colored alloy.

If it's just paint and clear then yes, Aircraft remover will go right through it.

You can try it yourself with stripper, and then polish with rouge and a buffer. It's quite a job but I am guessing that the bare aluminum wheel will need some dressing before you can polish it. Meaning that the bare wheel may have minor flaws that do not show when painted but will show when polished. Or, most major cities have at least one aluminum wheel restoration shop that repair and refinish aluminum wheels and they can do it for you as well. At least call for a quote.
