Hello, I have been looking at this car for almost 7 years but I still don't know anything about it other than its cosmetic damage. I have no idea what has been done to it, what is under the hood and under the body but I have been told that the rims are not stock. so I come to you good people of Corvette Forum to help me identify this vette. If you could tell me the year, if there is anything specail about it, and anything else you could pick out I would be very thankfull.
I would say it is a '73 because of the chrome bumper in the rear and no chrome on the front, but with cars that have been modified, It would be hard to know for sure.
If you would like inteligent information, you need to show some more pics......left and right sides, front and rear. Would you like to know what's under the hood? We would too, open'er up and show some pics. It looks like a 73 maybe. I would like to see some more pics

your right, I understand how much information two, low detailed, pics can give, but it is not my car and the owner was not around to help me out.
But I thank you all for your help.
'73,, you can tell it's real from the medalion. after market (not stock) Paint color, side pipes and hood. otherwise, body looks stock, nothing special,, it's been modified with aftermarket parts. a '73. Good year, but it would be pricy to put it back to stock, paint is expensive.
you have all been a big help. I am not to worried about getting this car back to stock if I purchace it, the hood will stay, and pipes stay (new ones with good chrome someday). Paint and body work is no big deal because I work in a body shop with full access to tools, supplys, and paint for fairly cheep and all the time in the world. But more importantly, the frame and engine get done first. Don't get me wrong, I realize how much time, effort, blood, sweat, tears, and cash will need to go into this. Even purchacing this car is still a year or two off. Thank you for your help, it is much appreciated.
that doesn't quite look like an L88 hood to me, maybe its just my eyes but it looks like a weird combination of L88 /stinger/trans am.
thats definatly not your eyes telling you it looks like that. its some bastardized L88-Stinger-Cowl-Godknowswhat hood. kind of suprised they didnt throw in the LT1 louvers just so they could cover everything.
