I'm curious too about the wheel sizes and offset. Let us know when you have a chance to check the backspacing and offset numbers. It looks great. I didn't know you could get a supercharger in under the L88 hood. What's your set-up?
It's a LS1 out of a '03 Vette with LS6 heads and a Lingenfelter GTII cam topped with a Magnuson invtercooled supercharger with a LS2 snout and 90mm throttlebody.
This is my first Corvette so I'm a total rookie with these cars.
For all I know the flares could have been custom built by a local bodyshop back in the day.
This 69 currently has a 74 350 2 barrel engine in it.
The story on the car I ws told was the original engine, whatever size it was, was pulled in the 70's because it was too hard on gas and this 74 350 was installed
It still wasn't good enough on gas so the owner parked it in a barn and there it sat for many moons.
The car sits rather high in the front like it possibly has big block springs and the tach redlines at 6500???
Regardless, the flares and big tires sure make the C3's look ready for battle!
You should make a thread with your VIN#. I bet someone one here can help you out with that. I agree with you on it sitting high, and I bet it used to be a big block car. Could be interesting.
I was under the impression the VIN will not ID the engine or options?
I might try to locate the tank sticker.
Unfortunately I'm not sure how long I'm going to keep this Corvette, I have too many projects and not enough time and/or money to work on them all.
I hope your prepared for LOTS of attention when you get that awesome project done!

Your car is coming along very nicely James. I love the flares and think they will make the car look very mean. What color are you planning on painting the car?
Now that's wide! Interesting poject you have there I haven't seen pics of your car before, I must have missed them. Anyways, I like what you've done to the car
