Lug nut size?
What is the lug nut size for the C3 vette? I'm asking because alot of my lug nuts have had there day so I took one of the ones that was in better shape with me to autozone to get new ones. I used there "thread size gauge" to see what my lug would fit and it was the 7/16 thread so I purchased a set of 20. Turns out only 4 will work. The others I can't even get started. Help!

Unless they have been changed, they should all be 7/16 with a 20 thread count or 7/16-20.
Don't know what it could be other than cheap junk lugnuts, boogered up studs or some of the studs have been changed to a different thread count.

Is it possible you bought a set with left and right hand threads?
I forget which car I had in the past, but one of them had specific left and right nuts.
