As the owner of an '88 and a '71, I can tell you that owning a C3 is great, as long as it's the right C3. This ain't it though. Keep looking, and wait 'til winter is in full swing for the best prices.
Just noticed you're in SF. Forget the winter thing I guess.

I've had 4 Vettes, 3 of them C3's. I'd love to have a new Z06, but not if my C3 had to go. And, I may be biased, but I don't think you'll find a more passionate and knowledgeable segment of Vette owners than the C3 Sharks.
Unless you're into body and interior work and plan on customizing them anyway, I'd find one without such issues. Personally, I'd prefer to deal with mechanical issues, excepting any frame problems.

I'll have to disagree. There are very passionate C3 owners for sure, but with the entry level prices of the '73s and up, C3s are disproportionate in the amount of first time buyers and newcomers as related to other cars. C3 owners aren't close to the knowledge base of C1 or C2 owners as a segment.
That said, there's a ton of great buys out there for you. The car you linked is not one of them.
