Just picked up one on Monday. Ignore the 1975 front bumper!
Motorola Camera Phone images:
This car was originally that metallic yellow color, because I can see it on the rear valence, behind the door panels, and around the engine area.
I bought it to drive while I am restoring my 1982.

btw.. a little 73 Corvette trivia. 'Jungle Jim' Liberman was killed in his blue 73 Corvette when it hit a bus in 1977.

I am glad Jungle Pam is still around. She is trying to keep Jim's memory alive. Some of us still remember those early funny car days.

Thanks a million, y'all. Once again, CF members come through!
I'll drop a PM to those whose shots I used. My deadline was Wednesday night, so those of you who posted after that didn't make the cut because time ran out.
Great cars and beautiful pix, everyone!
Thanks again.
Be well,
SJW

Good Question. I was told that most 73s were red, and that over time the red faded to orange.
When mine was repainted "red" it came out orange. I liked it better so i left it that way.
Maybe this happenned to more people than just me. Go fig...

'73 pics with factory 8 spoke aluminium rims?
I have the 8 spoke aluminum rims with the unpainted centers that are supposed to be pretty rare according to "The Ultimate History of Corvette" (page 114). They aren't actually on the car, (they are for sale if anyone wants them ($800? need money for resto and have steel rims with cap and rings) but I can throw one on if you want to get a close up picture for your book. (rear quarter with the bumper?)
My 73 is mid resto, but i think i could get a decent closeup without embarassing my self next to these other pictures if you wanted it.
