Went on about a 450 mile round trip to visit an old buddy. Took the Blue Ridge Parkway for the trip down, 140 miles of beatiful VA mountains. Only downside was he lives off a dirt road and his driveway is very steep, so the car got dusty and had to take it real slow going up his driveway. On the upside, the car ran great, and it was the first roadtrip I've taken without being in a caravan, so I was a little concerned.

We drove the Blue Ridge parkway in 2002 in our 78 SA....that road trip was 7,000 miles from San Diego/Virginia and back...

Went to Vette Fest in Gatlinburg. Our first Corvette event and our '74 actually won a "judges' choice" award in its class!

Replaced my door hinge pins, bushings and springs, then went to my Grandson's 5th birthday party at my Daughter's house.
