Glad to hear your getting your ride back...

I went with the KYB's cause they were a little better price for me.. Half the price and the KYB's area real good shock.

I dont have a show car. I just want to be able to handle the curves a little better. and I think the KYB;s are just what the doctor ordered...

No thats cool.. Sounds like fun... I just did my interior. Im getting ready to clean the engine bay up for the winter and have the carb rebuilt. trying to stay as kinda stock. Atleast till the motor goes.

Good luck.. keep us posted. Maybe start your own thread with pics and updates. SO everyone can watch...

Have fun..

I've ran Delco, Monroe, Bilstein, KYB, KYB2's, and Edelbrock shocks. So far my favorite and current ones are the Edelbrock shocks. Good ride and handle very well.

KYB if you are on a budget, Bilstein or Edelbrock if you want better, and Koni if you want the best. That is what we reccomend to all our customers

I think that's why my drop wasn't as much as I was expecting when I cut my front springs. I was expecting over 1.5" but only got 1.25" drop. I replaced the shocks at the same time, and I'm guessing they will setting down a bit as they wear.

Im ordering a set of poly bushings this week. While I was doing the shocks I noticed the bushings were shot.. But I think thats it. and I think im done for now on the suspention..
