Engine install before or after?
one of the very helpful threads hooked me up with the Van Steel suspension rebuild DVD and it is great to prepare me for the project ahead. one question - i noticed that Van Steel had the drive-train installed prior to installing the front suspension and am wondering what you have done. i think that they did this to provide weight so that spring installation was easier - maybe to avoid using a spring compressor, but would like your opinion/advice

Umm... won't the front of the car be on axle stands? If so then it won't matter what the car weighs, I guess.
Unless you're using the method of removing/installing springs that doesn't use a spring coil compressor. Wouldn't recommend that method though
