Quick question.

How much would an original GM front bumper still in GM box for a 73-74 be worth ?

If it was made recently, maybe $300+. If it's truly an NOS piece, probably the box is worth more.

35 year old urethane is pretty brittle and usually breaks during installation.

You can still buy that bumber from Chevrolet. It has a list price around $600.00

I recently bought one from GMpartsdirect, I believe it was about 480 dollars delivered. It fit nicely I might add.
