Default T-top Problem

Just started working on stripping the paint off my recently acquired 75 and discovered that the outer fiberglass panel is separating from the inner structure. Can anyone help with the right way to fix this, should I completely separate the 2 and reattach?

I'm guessing here because I'm really only familiar with glass tops on an 82, but on my 82 glass tops, the glass separated from the frame; basically the adhesive/tape gave way.

Had mine redone at Melrose T Tops. A few days, some shipping and a $170 or so and good as new. I would use them again.

My apologies if you are having a different problem.

if it is only a small area ,i would get between the two pieces, clean area with some sandpaper, get some vette bond adhesive, and reglue the affected area by sneaking the vette bond between the two pieces.if done properly this will hold.you can get the stuff from any auto body shop supply house .68-72 use the press molded formula.73 and up use the smc formula
