The holes in the door where the screws for the armrests go have worn out. I tried to bubba it by using JB weld and then drilling a new hole. That worked for about a week. Any suggestions? (Does JB Weld go bad with age? I don't know how long I had the stuff)

You need the clip on "nut plate" that you can get at any auto parts store. You slide 'em over the hole from the edge of the panel and the screw goes through. Fixed good last long time!!

Use the next larger size screw to confom to the now-larger hole? I just put a j-nut on a pace car door handle mount hole for a friend, but would have just used a larger screw, but I could not find one in the junk bin that was long enough.

They sell all different sizes of these at Lowe's too.
