Default Question on 1981 C3 Identification

Greetings from Coastal NC!

I am kinda new to Corvettes (Had 1 in 1979) I recently purchased a 1969 427 Convertable (to be restored) and a 1981 Coupe. Pictures to be posted soon!

I have a question om my 81. I thought that all 81 vettes are L-81's I see some people listing 81's as L82's. If in fact I am mistaken on the 1981, how do I find out if I have an L82?

Thanks for any assistance. Proud to be in the forum.

David

All 1981s were L81s. Many people are adamant that there were L82s but that's not the case.

Default Thanks!

I thought that all 1981's were L81's but I have seen some people trying to push parts and cars that state that they are L82's. Just wanted to make sure...

THANKS EVERYBODY!
