Here is my page os the 73 I did in my garage. I used te lift sttaps that atached to the rocker channels but after seeing thge condition they were in I felt lucky I didn't drop the body. If your rocker channels are in oubt, get straps that will reach all the way under the body.

redwingvette no link? Photo looks good! Hmmm? those straps would have me worried too. quess a body dolly is a must , if ya wantta get some sleep at night.
hwcoop great link! will study that one!

My Story so far; Picked up the car at Aucton and paid too much!
Too much testosterone at a classic car aucton!
First Let me add a good Bro Jason Parker will be doing most of the work at his race car shop,
He was kinda pissed at me when he learned I bought the car! Seems he had unknown to me a 69 427 upstairs amongst the 20+ blocks Horded for years up there.
Laufhing he sold it to me! and he's gonna rebuild it!
Don't know the details yet? Shure it'll be bad ***.
Will be a no brainer for him to do!
Just ,,,I wantta learn this all before the job starts so I'm not a total Idiot in his way!
here's his page link;
