Default Powdercoating is AWESOME!

So, I got my powdercoating system from Eastwood on Friday and I powdercoated some stuff this weekend. Let me just say it was worth every penny and the results are AMAZING.

Here are some pictures of the hood hinges, these were the first things I have ever powdercoated and they came out great, that just goes to show how easy it is.

I am going to find every piece of metal possible and powdercoat it, brackets, hinges, control arms, everything. Hopefully this puppy with pay for itself in like a month.

Nice work. It sounds like you are already addicted to it. I have always wanted to pick up one of those Eastwood systems just never have done it. Mostly because I don't have the room for the oven. Nice work, keep the pics coming when you do your next batch.

I had the same concerns but I actually just bought an electric toaster oven (works great for these small brackets and stuff) until I can find a space for a larger electric kitchen oven.

They look great. Did you Sandblast them first? As the saying goes, 90% of the work is in the preparation.

Which kit did you purchase? I am thinking about doing this myself. Your work looks great!

I didn't sandblast cause I don't have a sandblaster but I spent a long time with a wire brush and a dremel
