Default fix or pull air?

The air in my 74 doesn't work. Should i fix it, or shave a few pounds and yank it?

It's always nice to A/C in the car. Mine is not working but I'll figure it out in time.

Next year the two big projects for my 72 are the entire rear suspension/ differential and then the air conditioning. Once I get the A/C operating I will consider a two or three day trip in the old girl along with my old girl.

Fix it.

If you do remove it, please do it right. Nothing I hate worse at a car show is underhood with the a/c evaporator tubes cut off with a hacksaw. Not to mention these components have value for resale.

ditch the ac, put the parts in a box or sell them here, its free to take it off and drop some weight on the car, it costs money to fix it, money that could be spent making power.
