Need help IDing motor and trans.
Trying to figure out what motor and transmission is in my car. Original motor long gone. Given the following info what can you guys tell me? Numbers off the block V0607HN, 18J286867, casting # 3914678. Numbers off the transmission, Ser. # CD-68-300949, large turquoise C followed by ? 8D 524 then a large turquoise D. Trans. Info off a metal tag.
The motor and transmission are supposed to be out of a 68 Impala. I have tryed to research this on the internet and have found some info. But not a complete picture. Had the Carb. rebuilt and was told it was off a 69. charlie
