That guy is everywhere. Seems he has had his hands in most everyones cars. He did the same thing to mine but it was at the fill tank on the fender well. The small tube that came out and went to the radiator.

there is a fine line between bubba and genious. Bubbas are found in all walks of life, I bought my vette from my uncle, an engeneer, turns out he is a bubba. Need to get into the engine bay? no problem!, he just cut out the inside of the fenderwell and duct taped it back in.... all his "repairs" have translated into a lot of frustration for me, the best thing he did was not drive it for the last decade he owned it.
