Default Help me decide which minilite wheels...

Well, finally i've decided what wider wheels to choose for my new flared scheme set up...

I've choosen to go with custom built 3pc modular MINILITES, 9.5x15 front and 11.5x15 rear, all with BS 4'', they come with black satin centres and polished rims.

But there are two Minilites designs available, pls tell me which one you'd prefer:

Tomorrow i want to place the order, it'll take 5 to 6 weeks to get them from Compomotive UK

OOhh...my present 15x8 black minilites (with hoosier dot sportscar tires) are for sale, just in case...

I seem to favor the first photo... even though both have good quailities...I think, because the spokes are centered in the rims width.

I dont know, those might be more period correct but i dont like much the outer circle of the centre, it looks too wide to me...

Maybe the picture shows a small size rim, maybe in the wider sizes that should be less noticeable...

Do they come in bigger ( diameter ) sizes so you can get some good modern tires on your car ?

I like the first ones way better than the second ones. I would put the first ones on my car but I wouldn't put the second one on

Nop, they come in 15'' dia only, I dont like larger diameter wheels anyway...

tires: i'll buy the dot hoosiers vintage, same tire as the dot sportscar i have now. Very good rubber indeed IF used under proper conditions and on the right tarmac surfaces...

Of course there are certain limitations: better dont touch wet NOR humid tarmac, they give the their best on smooth surfaces and need to reach a proper temperature to work properly...

Well, it seems the first one has most of the support here .

It's the one i like best myself too

Danny, dont know the 5 lug how many spokes has, i'll ask the builder to show me pics.

I still have to decide the center color, satin black seems (to me) the best option IF i repaint the car in satin silver with black accents (hood/tail/stripe) and black interior...

I've already placed the order:

first one (with satin black centre).
