Default ***Fifth Annual C3 Christmas Give Away Thread***

Happy Holidays to everyone participating.

Rules:

#1: Anyone, (Giver), can offer as many gifts as they wish to give away for free.

#2: Only one gift can be claimed by each person, (Taker).

#3: This thread is for gifts only. There is a Wish List only thread in the C3 Parts section. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1874277

The shipping of each gift will be paid by the Giver unless it falls under one of the three exclusions.

- Taker offers to pay for shipping based on size or distance.
- It's an unreasonably large or heavy gift requiring freight.
- Internationally shipped gifts.

Have fun everyone...

...let the giving begin.

dale can you do anything with courtesy timers by chance?

Why not rent (on the forum account) a large Santa sleigh to go around member's houses to collect and deliver the christmas presents?????
EDIT + I also have a 78-82 worn voltmeter, meh cosmetically but DOES work, i did however cut it to a perfect circle for more light to reach it. - [STILL AVAILABLE]

EDIT + I also may have a 78 stock hei distributor, i picked up an msd but have to put it on, when i do and everything works the stock one can go. will probably be available in a week or so. [GONE]

+ ive got a radio from a 78, am/fm/cb, it does work, and not terribly bad cosmetically but definately not perfect. - if someone can use it they can have it.[GONE]

+ an edelbrock pro-flo air cleaner once my new one arrives, looks like this
- [no longer available]

+ a 78 passenger armrest that has the broken tab problem, comes with the kit to fix it. red - free to whoever can use it as well

+ a slightly rusty, but far as i can tell still working, drivers side seat buckle (bottom part) also red. - free whoever can use it.

+ assorted parts from a qjet rebuild kit, all gaskets except for the late model one also random qjet parts., and think everything else in there, all i needed was a new gasket. - free if someone needs it, or if you just need a gasket i can send you your gasket.

+ 2 red seat adjustment ***** as well - free to whoever can use them as well. [GONE]

unless shipping is rediculous (as in 20+) on something ill pay it, otherwise halfsies. and whoever gets anything from me is getting PEANUTS because i have boxes full! ill try to throw some green ones in for christmas cheer.

PM me if you want any of it, ill edit this post if something is gone.

Repost from closed thread.
30 plus years of Vette Vues Magazines. only a couple of issues missing from the entire lot.
I request you pick them up, as shipping would be very high due to the weight.
They are in 4 six gallon sealed plastic buckets.
Located in Thomasville NC
pm me if you want em.

Good Job DB for getting Christmas spirit back into the Christmas give away thread. I didn't like the way the other thread was going. But now that you got it back on track here's what I have to put under the tree this year. A pair of stock black t-top bags. I got a better pair for my glass t-tops but these are good for the stock tops. I'll pay shipping $10. over that you need to pay. (been out of work for a while & looking for a new job)

T-Top Bags shipped out to Marks68BB today. Merry Christmas to all

Gone - Merry Christmas to DZRick (see post #33 & #34 of locked thread) - reposting here for tracking since the other thread got locked

Here is a brand new - still in the package Paragon body mount access plate kit (pair) for '63-'82 (complete w/ screws, washers and nuts).

Paragon part # 1755K

I ordered 2 (pair) accidently, so this one's a spare. I'll cover the shipping on this one too

Merry Christmas

Gone - to PMullaly (well at least the front half) - Merry Christmas!!!

In addition to the new item I am offering above, I have - for pickup in AZ only, a complete '69 4 spd frame. I elected to replace my frame 2 years ago and had kept this one around as reference. It has rust through in the kick-ups and needs to be blasted and repaired. It is complete and not twisted or wrecked to my knowledge. Pls PM me if you are interested and I will provide pictures, etc... IT IS RUSTY

Much more disorganized than years past. It's a shame. I don't agree with an "asking for" thread. If that item happens to pop up in the thread, then fine, ask to claim it. Asking is for the kids this time of year. This thread should be strictly about the generous people of this forum offering up free items to help others out and that's it. 1 item chosen per person. Notes posted on that particular item when it's claimed (asked for). Need someone to help moderate that process...Merry Christmas by the way

Not a Corvette item, but maybe someone here is also a Porsche enthusiast?

I won a pair of Porsche sunglasses in a random drawing, model number is P2005, they have amber-colored lenses.

I'll take these and will be glad to pay the shipping since you're in the job market (been there, done that).
Let me know how you want payment.

For my gift, I have a new accordian boot for the 68-72 wiper door actuator free to a good home. I accidentally ordered an extra from the Doc and never returned it. :o

The rules for this thread are unchanged from years past, as clearly stated above in post #1. You complaining is only making this thread worse.

By the way, in regard to the trial Wish List thread in Parts...when you were a kid...

...did you sit on Santa's lap and look through a list of available presents or did you ask Santa what you wanted for Christmas?

Let this thing go on and we'll see how it does. Without complaints or off topic conversation I don't see any problems.

Here is a list of what I've got. I had questions eariler before the griping started, but the rules are clear. I can't offer shipping on more than one item, so it's first reply goes. I don't know if any of this stuff is any good, but whoever the first one is to reply on this thread that they definately want an item, I'll pay full shipping to that person. Pick through this stuff and be the first reply.
----------------

Gone 1...A set of T tops with the interior insert. They're in good shape, but are lacking the latches. A feller was asking about these eariler. I've tried to get a hold of him but can't, so they're here for the asking.

Gone 2...Qjet carb with a stock chevy aluminum intake. I'll call this one item, or split it up if you only want one or the other. Have no idea if the carb is corvette, I know the intake's not. Both were working ok when removed. I glass beaded the intake.

Gone 3....steering box w/ rag joint

Gone 4...steering cylinder w/new rebuild kit and hoses

Gone 5...brand new Edelbrock Pro Flo air cleaner in box. (sorry, it's just out of the pic)

Gone 6...brand new 17 1/2 inch (stock '76 size) chrome and aluminum flex fan. Been dummied on once, removed. (local)

Gone 7....stock seven bladed 17 1/2 inch fan with the drive. Worked well when removed.

8...chrome dist. cover

Gone 9...some old beat up spinner centers Believe it or not?!

Hope this makes someone's project a little easier!
Merry Christmas!
John

I'll take the steering box with rag joint if it will work for a 1976 corvette.
