Default T-Top interior roof panel removal

I'm getting ready to send my '72 off to the painters' and was wondering how the T-Top interior roof panels come off? Do you just grab them and pull or is there a trick to it? Don't want to damage them; there are in pretty good shape. I know there are held on with velco strips correct? thanks steve

Default

There is one screw that goes through a little metal bracket (frequently missing because someone just started pulling). After that screw is removed, the liner will pop out with a little gentle persuasion.
