I receintly needed to touch up some spots where the paint was lifting above the timing chain cover. I scraped all the loose paint and I used acetone to remove any greece dirt etc... and then sprayed it directly on a small cheap brush. I applied 3-4 coats and it matched the rest of the engine color perfectly.
