Hey everyone. Well me and my 79 Corvette are finally back together again. I had been without her for 4 years. I joined the military and found out I was going to Alaska, so I put my baby in storage at my dads place. Well now I am finally out of Alaska, got new orders to Luke AFB in Phoenix, bought a new place, and love that I finally have my baby back.
I joined the site a few years back, asking some questions, waiting, and planning on what I was going to do once she was with me again. Now I plan on hopefully being a regular on here, and picking as many brains as I can for good info.
So incase anyone was wondering, I better post some pics before someone asked where the pics are at.
Well first welcome home and thank you for serving our country. And second welcome to CORVEETEFORUM.COM, the best corvette site there is.
one extreme place of weather to another. where were u stationed at, Eilsen AFB? not sure bout the spelling. i was stationed @Ft Wainwright and visited Eilsen AFB one day. glad to have u back.
welcome home from a retired Air Force vet with a Vette, well actually 2 of them,a red 90 coupe and a frost beige, soon to be yellow 80 coupe! Is your 79 a factory color,I am trying to find a good yellow paint for my 80,it has doeskin interior so the yellow will look good.
rosslato I was at Elmendorf. I couldn't see being stuck at Eilsen. That would of probably pushed me over the edge. How did you like Ft Wainwright?
BARRY yes that is the factory color. I love that it's yellow, and my interior is doeskin. I cant wait to see yours all done. Not to many yellow late C3's I see running around.
