Default new bumper covers

Just sent my car to a painter/body guy last week and started thinking about changing out the urethane bumpers. We agreed that with the age of the original bumpers they should be changed out. My question is go back to Urethane, would rather stay away from the Urewaves, flex fit or fiberglass. The glass is my preference but want to make sure, also have one day left on the ten percent off from Eckler's. What is the general concensus. Thanks in advance.

Fiberglass panels will always look better when proper install and prep has been performed.

I have both end glassed. The common problem is that they don't match up perfectly with your body. It is normal and they usually tell you this in advance. You or your bodyman will have to build up/grind away to get it flush. My rear bumber was off about a 1/4 inch on each end.

But regardless, my vote is fiberglass!

I have an '81 and bought both a custom front fiberglass bumper cover from Eckler's and their stock replacement rear bumper cover. Neither have been installed yet but I think the quality of both is very good. I won't know about fit until I go to install them though but I expect I'll need to tweak a few areas.
