I just got my Vette 3 weeks ago so there is a lot I don't know about it yet so I need your help.
Last night the Ignition Buzzer started going of without the key in the ignition. No one was around the Car. My wife says she got home around 7:30 and it was quiet. When I got home at 11:00 it was buzzing and I could only get it to stop by putting the key in the ignition and turning it to the start position or disconnecting the battery.
What does it hurt if I disconnect the buzzer? Where is the buzzer? What does it look like? How do I disconnect it? Where can I find a new replacement buzzer? Is that my problem?
Could this be tied to the Horn? The Horn has been disconnected (Previous Owner). When I reconnect it, I won't stop honking.
Thanks,
Jeff

It sounds like your problems are in the steering column. You may have a wire that has rubbed bare and is shorting out against something metal in the column, hence causing the horn to blow constantly.
Thanks for the info on the Horn. I will check that out soon. Do you think there will be a problem removing or disconnecting the Ignition reminder buzzer until I can tear into the Stearing Column and fix it right? I still want to drive it until I can get the the more indepth repairs.
My 78' did the same thing. Problem was with the key switch in the column. No big deal to disconnect the buzzer. It's plugged into the right hand side of the fuse box. See photo, it's the thingy on the right with the speaker looking face on it.
The steering column has a electrical connector that is nicknamed the "harmonica" connector. It is down under the dash and connects to the vehicle instrument cluster wiring harness. The third wire from the end in the vehicle connector should be pink and black. It goes to the buzzer. If you cut the wire or disconnect it from the connector - no more buzzer.
