I never saw one until a week ago when we removed the tank from my 68 for repairs. It was not in too good of shape from age and some rust on the face of it covering descriptions behind the numbers. I took some closeup pictures with the intent of enlarging the picture on the screen to see whats left besides the list of several numbers and a few of the accessories or options still visible. One I remember is 'special off road exhaust' and another indicated 'transistorized ignition' The sticker or build sheet is still on the tank and was trying to figure the best way to recover it in just one piece.
Do they match? It's unusual and not many owners report finding two but not surprising when you understand how they were used and the fact that factory workers typically left them lying around, stuffed in suspension parts, dash and on floorboards. The factory worked with seven copies that were distributed to various parts of the assembly lines such as body, trim, chassis, final trim, etc. This is in addition to the tank sticker.
Where did you find them and what shape are they in? What year car?
Here's link to background information on C3 build sheets.
The car is 1975 coupe. I found the first one on the top of the gas tank on the driver side. I didn't drop the tank nor had the body off to find it. I did have the bumper off though. All I did was put my hand up there and with my fingers I wiggle it loose. That one is in good to very good condition. The other one was put between the rear and the protective splash pan. This one had oil stains from the rear, but, I still can read it. They are both the same as far what is written on them. So you’re saying there might be more to find since I didn't tear out the interior yet? What does this do to the value of the car? 75's need all the help they can get!

Not a thing. If anything, it preserves its value in contrast to another 75 coupe without a build sheet. Is it auto or manual tranny? I would be curious to see the one found sandwiched in the splash pan. Can you scan it?
