It said, plastic bumper guys...that part alone obviously makes you nauseous so why even comment on it. Or maybe not, the plastic bumper guys should be humbled by the mere fact that you, one who has a chrome bumper vette, the only real ones, responded to this thread so they can bask in the glory of your presence

The man is intitled to his opinion, either accept it or ignore it. Looking to pick an argument with someone because you don't agree with them and it's not even your car is and not a good way as a newbie to get your feet wet in this forum or any other forum for that matter.
dats nazty.............i hate the flares............& prefer BUMPERS !!!!
I think the title said "plastic bumper guys", so your opinion is really OUT OF ORDER!
And for the record, if thats your car under your user name, Its my opinion that the car in this thread looks better than your run of the mill cookie cutter.

well, i'm no newbie, my feet are wet, and i am a rubber bumper owner. my question is why did 427sixpack even look at this post after reading the title?? seems to me that someone else was possibly trying to start an argument. just a thought. by the way, that car does look awesome but if i had my way, which is not financially possible for me right now, i too would have a chrome bumper car.
p.s. i'm not trying to start anything here, i just get really tired of the chrome bumper vs. rubber bumper feuds. again, i'd much rather have a chrome bumper car but can't right now so let us rubber bumper guys bask a little every now and then. after all, from c1 to c6, they're all corvettes and we should all be on the same team here? sure, opinions have their place, like when they're asked for. o.k., i'm finished ranting, i feel better.

I didn't say that I agree with 427sixpack's comment( I don't), I am just simply saying that if you don't agree with it than just ignore it. I would love to have a chrome bumper car as well, however we can't all be fortunate enough to own one and I think as fellow Corvette owner's we should all respect each other and their vehicles even if they or their car is not your cup of tea. Getting into a pissing match over someone's opinion of a car is so not worth it. I personally like all generations from C1 to C6. Was it a bonehead comment to make?, absolutely, and I don't agree with it, however, I was just trying to give a newbie some advise not to get roped into that nonsense. This is a great place for the most part and the people here make this place what it is, the best Corvette Forum on the web. Oh, and by the way I think that "Rubber Bumper" Vette looks sick. I love the stance of it, the flares, and the hood.
