Found a lower profile air filter,
but just finished (well almost) building a house on my own for the first time so been moving and unpacking need the new garage clean so I can fit the toys in it sigh.....

IMHO
I think the engine should remain under the hood otherwise it takes away from the lines of the Vette. I'd rather look at a Corvette than an air cleaner any day.
That being said, you DO have a couple of VERY COOL cars!

I had the same issue. Took some fiberglass work and cutting...re-cutting..more fiberglass....I now have a Houston phonebook for my wife to sit on to see over the hood.
