Saw those a few months ago, and a writeup. They would be cool but you cannot have anything under the car in their way, and if the ground is rough or hilly the doors scraped on the ground.

actuallynot true watch the video it shows how you have normal ground clearance it dosent just simply slide under the car... otherwise driviving in the rain would be hell
it slides into its own compartment so there arent ANY problems... at least that i can see

I know but something just doesn't seem right. They saw the cabin floor and seats do not change in any way, yet cars have a lot of things under the floor pans and the compartments for the doors must take up a good portion of each side under the seats.

Drive shaft
Exhaust
Frame rails...
Where do they put these things?
On front wheel drive cars only thing in the way is exhust, which is often run through what use to be the drive shaft/trans tunnel, so nothing below the floor pan.

So that conversion only works on front wheel drive cars and vans that don't have a ladder frame style and employ a uni-body style construction?
I'll bet they only modify a very small select few cars on their own list and if you don't have one they won't do it.
What happens in an accident when there is no power to your car or it is smashed up. It would take much longer to get you out
Not even an accident...what about no power. At least in a C6 when the power goes out you can still get in through the hatch and you can manually open the doors from the inside.

So true.
When I was 16, my S10 had shaved handles and solenoids with a cable/pulley system. I had to pull the back window out a number of times to get in. A mechanical backup would have been a great idea.
