Well, I figured I didn't have anything to loose. I submitted a form to them. I definitely qualify on the age mark. I turned 20 yesterday.
I'd nominate my son, but he hasn't done anything but make payments on the 72 since we bought it. I have been doing all of the real work and I'm more than twice the age that Hemmings is looking for.
If we are going to keep the classic car hobby alive for the under 25 crowd, trade in your side pipes for fart cans! Anyone care to be the first?
I think he might be refering to the import crowd with those angry *** bumble bee exhaust. I'm exhausted after hearing those damn things, no pun intended. I like for one of them to provoke me into a light to light. You never know what's under that Corvette hood?????

You guessed it BBT! You never know whats under the hood of those "Rice Burners" either. They have a different meaning for "NOS" and it doesn't have anything to do with old parts.
Vintage Corvettes are a finite entity which dictates the value and it's a whole lot easier and cheaper to do mods to a late model Honda Civic when you are on a "under 25" budget.

I know what NOS is too, I'm a crew chief (part time) on a 8.15 sec. drag race car. And I know what those rice bars can burn too. I'm kinda thinking that a kid will just about show you what he's got at the first light tempting you into a race. I think the young kids just want to outrun the old man for bragging rights, when in all actuality, I send them home to pee on the porch. I just love it. It's fun being my age now!!!!
