Control Arm Bushing INSTALL

How tough is it??? Can I do the uppers in the front of a 77 at home? or do I get rippe off by some zit faced rookie mechanic?

It's not that bad. With basic mechanical ability you should be able to do it.

Find Lars' paper and you can do it yourself. It's not horrible but a little time consuming depending on how rusty/stuck yours are.

You can do it. It is time consuming, especially if you strip and repaint everything. Do your homework here on the forum and read some of the past postings . . . there are many on this subject and extremely good advice. Have you decided rubber vs. poly yet? Be careful with the coil springs and definitely use safety chains . . . I'd recommend using spring compressors, at least to get the springs back in. Good luck . . . "You can doit"

U can Do it

Not Rocket science . Use plenty of penatrant and air chisel and they will back out.. Done my share of these and it is pretty easy as long as they are not too rusted together. Get er done!!!
