Curious, did you take it to the shop just to check it out? I have mine out to on the '76 and was thinking about having it pressure tested.
Not exactly..I took it to the shop to have it cleaned and tested...I hadn't noticed anything leaking, but really haven't driven the car very much. There was some blue staining (copper corrosion) on one side of the core area. The tech immediately said the core would have to be replaced, due to the evidence of leakage. I have had work done by these guys in the past and don't doubt their integrity or expertise. They wanted around $350 to dismantle and install a new core. I have opted for a new aluminum radiator, since its not that much more, with Dewitt's current sale (ends on the 15th)...
Just curious, What about "Be Cool" radiators? What does this community think about them???
They will work, but it's a cheaper made product for a cheaper price. Northern is another one, and they work, but not like a DeWitts direct fit. There is no chance that it won't fit perfect, and if you looked at them side by side you would see visually just how much precision and pride goes into the making of every one of his radiators. In my eyes...cooling perfection.

His "stuff" is Autorama ready. High shine finish is available on all his products. Words cannot describle how great his total packages look. Not cheap, but if you dont have his package and another car does, your going to get beat as far as looks and showmanship. A must for a show Car. I cannot coment of Dewitts products but I understand both have similar qualities and the question was about Be Cool.
