I like his other auction for the 70 bb vette shell no motor trans interior?? buy it now for 11,500??? or spend anothe 5 and get a whole running painted 70??? this guy makes bubba seem smart!
Oh! I want it! I will buy it as soon as my new friend (the brother of the deposed King of Nigeria) sends me the money I will get by helping him! This car is PERFECT! WOHOO! Soon I can be the proud owner of a nearly race ready corvette! Then I can set it on fire and roll it down a hill into the woods to rot.
let's see...remove the hideous rear sides, fiberglass in a better rear end that matches (I think the idea of integrating a modern rear end could work, though). considering the price, not bad. Of course, who knows what the frame/mechanics are like?
think maybe it should have had a wing, it sorta looks empty in the back of the car, wait a minute maybe a spoiler on the front end ,and a ground effects kit maybe we can give the poor soul some ideas to fix it up, he is proberly not going to sell it any way, if it was a mustang it would be made of rotted tin and someone would steal it for the salvage money, regretfully it is fiberglass and it will be arround forever
But I think I have seen that rear bumper before, albeit slightly better workmanship.Wasn't there a red C3 at SEMA a few years back that had a similar C5 looking bumper on it? Never was able to find anything out about that car. That one didn't look half bad, at least not in the pictures.
You know what, I'll play devil's advocate. I actually kind of like it. The wide body kit was way too wide for me, but the whole look isn't half bad.
As for the "lambo-vette" black 74, I really like that with the exception of the rear. Why have a wide body on it, but use the standard narrow rear? Why not extend it to match?
Not so fast - that one looks to be very well done IMHO. The body looks straight and the paint looks very good. There are lots of bad wide body conversions out there but this one doesn't look bad to me. I would want to change a few things but I have no problem having that in the garage.
Not my taste anyways - just my opinion though. The guy definitely has skill though. It looks like he put a lot of work into the bodywork, but it is still not my taste. To each his own.
