The AIM is my # 1 most used reference material. Couldn't live without out!
Also use the (1973) Chevrolet Service Manual and the 53-82 Chevrolet Dealers Parts and Illustration Catalog on a regular basis. Those 3 books will answer the majority of all C3 parts and repair questions

Where did you get the 53-82 Chevrolet Dealers Parts and Illustration Catalog? I haven't seen those from amy of the vendors.

EBay is the place where most of them show up periodically. Some Vintage Auto dealers also have them. I have seen them from $50.00 to $100.00 usually. They have ALL the GM corvette part numbers, illustrations, etc. This is the book the guy behind the Chevy Parts Counter used when you walked in to order a C3 part from him. Great reference manual; Highly recommend.

A tip for those who use the AIM on a regular basis.
I made a xerox copy of mine (SSHHH, I did it at work ) and keep the original in it's own binder. If I happen to damage or smear grease on a page of the working copy I can replace it. It takes a little bit of time to copy, but worth it to me.
That link will give you ALL of the contents, not just an idea.
I agree, I paid somebody 10 bucks on ebay to download it. A week later on the forum some guy gave me the link to that site. I was out 10 bucks for the same book I could have had for free. BTW, its a 110mb file! I burned it to CD and printed a copy at work. Grease it up, print another copy.
