AC Delco, use the long PF35 or 1218. Penzoil synthetic 10-30w oil. I always switch to syn oil after the engine has about 30,000 miles on it. Keeps the engine clean as the day it was built.
I currently use Mobil1 20w50 and Purolator Pure One filters.
Castol has just introduced a new 20w50 full synthetic with a zinc rich additive package formulated specifically for classic cars. the info is on their website. Not recommended for C-3s with catalytic converters. I think I am going to give that a try on the next oil change. Sounds like the best of both worlds. Staying with Puroulator on filters though. Them or Wix.
We can tell you any oil, but you need to research and find what you want and like. Look at oils that have the correct additives for a flat tappet cam. That's what all this is about, really. If you have a roller ,motor, you can use whatever you want. Rotella has the additives, Valvoline VR1 has the additives also. Most any "racing oil" will have the additives needed for a flat tappet cam. Tank
