When was the beige/saddle interior introduced in 1968. From what I've heard it was 1/2-3/4 through production. My dad's 68 BB is Cordovan Maroon with the beige interior and I've never another one like it. All the CM cars I've seen have Black or occasionally a Tobacco interior. My dad has also owned the car since the early 80s(before my time), so I don't think it could have been changed prior to his ownership. I don't have any good interior pics, but there KINDA show it:
Any info would be great.

...this color is not even mentioned in the Corvette Bible, or "Black Book" and a few years ago I even brought this question up to the author, Michael Antonick at Corvettes @ Carlisle and he asked if I was sure about this. I said yes, and after looking around, I verified three 1968 Corvettes with this interior color by the trim tag. If I'm not mistaken, it was available in either Leather or Vinyl.
...judging by the placement of the exterior rear view mirror on the driver's door, if original to that car, the VIN# should be above #14,600 or a mid-March or later car. I don't remember the link, but there are several '68s with this interior on the '68 Corvette Registry. Could compare their VIN #'s and possible time frame for a start.
Oddly enough, I just found the tank sticker in a filing cabinet. It's in VERY bad shape, but the Option Code is: 02420G*. I can't make out the *, but it looks like ...nevermind, I don't even know what it looks like.
