Bumpers are one thing. Pull the panel and look at the window guides for one thing. Then sometimes other items come lose. You need to get it apart and wiggle things around to see what else is loose.
it could be the inner/outer window strips with the fuzz. i changed these on my 442 a few years ago and the rattling stopped. good luck. working with the glass in the door is fun no matter how you look at it
I am in the process of refreshing my door panels and decided to replace the bumpers. I haven't put the door panels on yet, but with the new bumpers, the glass rattling has reduced tremendously. I have adjusted them in far enough so that the windows go up and down fairly easily.
You can go to our web link for detailed instructions on how to adjust the door glass and the parts involved. It's kind of hard to read but you can request this in a PDF format by sending sales an email with "request door adjustment pdf" in the subject line.

Good luck,

You definitely want to replace the anti-rattle bumpers. They're a lot of fun to wiggle in and tighten. Then you can replace the inner and especially the outter rubber strips- for a snug window and water proofing. Its actually a pretty simple and fun maintenance job that gives a lot of satisfaction when the rattles are gone...then you can start on the weatherstripping... and reset the windows......
