THANKS for the help!

THANKS for the help, she runs like a top now!!!!!!
I replaced the lifters and correctly adjusted the valve lash with the "oh so much easier than GM" Lars method. Buttoned her back up and hit the key, SMOOOOOOOOOOOTH, no shake! I got away with only minor attacks of "oh while I am at it"
I replaced the lower hose and water pump, I refinished the pully's and got new belts. Did a cooling flush (even though that system is pretty much new). I am now working on cleaning up the compartment to get it to look nice I will post pics.
THANKS AGAIN for everyone's help - I am relieved it was such a minor issue!
BTW, now that it runs well, this 454 has a hell of a lot of torque!
BTW - I achieved great satisfaction in crushing a glove box lock into a million parts. After looking at all the suggested methods of removal I determine my tumbler was upside down after hours of messing with it. Channel locks and a hammer later, that baby was toast and I felt good about it
That was after looking up the $20.00 replacement cost to ensure it wasn't some rare OEM $300.00 version
