I usually hang out in the C-2 section (I have a 66-427 Coupe). We had a thread going awile back of old personal photos. Here is a photo of a 68 I had years ago. The photo was taken in the late 1970s. It was a 327-300 4-sp. Very nice car. I sold it in the mid 1980s for $6000. Wish I still had it! The girl is my wife (when we were dating). She has seen many cars and vettes come and go. Post vintage photos if you have them.
Here is one of me. It is around the summer of 67. My uncles 66 427/425 HP car. This car was stolen a few times and he always got it back. He had 3 Vettes. Totalled one of them and just sold the others eventually. I was about 4 and still can remember this car.
Behind it was my dads 66 Impala convertible. Don't know what the black car is.
Here's a pic of my old '69 350/350, M21 Coupe. This is the 1st owner and his wife, her sister, a friend and their two kids. The picture was taken about 6 months after he drove the car off of lot at Harry Mann Chevrolet in Los Angeles.
Just got done washing it. My first C3 which I purchased in 1981 for $4500. Bias ply tires on it, which I later switched to Eagle ST's. what a difference in the ride. I sold it in 1985 to get enough money for college. On my way home from class on the interstate later that day, I was behind it while it was on a flatbed. It was on it's way to New York presumably. That hurt. PS. If anyone knows the whereabouts of this car, 1972 convertible, classic white with bright blue interior, Power steering, let me know.
From looking at those old photos you can see how some of the styles change, and some stay the same. I like the rally rims on the cars, rather than some of the 70s aftermarket versions.

I love these threads. Always great pics show up. My oldest pics are of my 79 back around 95-96. Nothing great. I have a few pics of my 70 when it first came into my ownership from around 98-99. Nothing worth posting though IMO.
This is me in my parents' brand new 1977 Corvette. I believe it was June of '77, so I would have been 10, almost 11. They still have the car. It only has 19,000 miles on it. Dad bought it for Mom but at 5'0", she didn't like driving it because she had a hard time seeing out of it. My dad, a long time drag racer, thought it was too slow. I drove it some in high school and appreciated its handling compared to my '77 Trans Am. It's never been driven in the rain and has always been garaged.
Yea, He was damn lucky. That's him in the yellow jacket looking over the car.
This was the creek. He launched the car off the bridge rail landing upside down in the creek. Grasp a breath of air on the passenger floorboard and kicked the passenger door open. The hooker header sidepipes blocked the driver side door.
