Default Nice day for a drive

48 F and sunny today, got the '68 out and drove for about 45 minutes.

Might be the last time for a while, think I'm gonna pull the distributer and send it off to Lars for a rebuild.

Gotta love global warming

I actually thought this morning would be ok for a drive as I took today off. But as luck would have it its damp, cold, hailing and raining now here in York,PA. Maybe this weekend? Enjoy your ride!

Great white north (Canada) Snow, ice, salt, grey skys, cold, and below freezing, Corvette is in hibernation like a Grizzly bear for another 4 to 5 months. You guy's in Florida, Texas, California, Arizano, have it good.
Happy New year everyone

Had mine out Monday for about 30 miles.
Keep your tanks full guys, helps to keep moisture out during the winter and when the temperature fluctuates 20 or 30 degrees in one day.

I used to think keeping a full tank during the winter months was bad due to the possibility that it could stale, not true...

Default Some beautiful days in Southern Indiana

We've been blessed with some very nice days in the past week or so. I had our '78 pace car out for a run last Saturday. It hadn't been out for over a month. The shortest day has passed and spring is on the way.
Hey, we can hope and dream can't we?
Santa brought some new mats for the '78.

Take care

Fixed

We get our white stuff here too, only it doesn't stick around.

I hate to go across the Ohio river this time of year

Had mine out for about 25 miles of fun Christmas Eve, sunny and around 50. Today, cold and rainy, just an all around nasty day.

Default Read my mind

Was just about to start the same thread on my xmas solo cruise.

No salt on the roads and not too chilly...perfect for a nice spirited drive around town.

Here are some pics I snaged in a parking lot and some video.
I've got to get a camera mount for the sharkbar.
I beleive the hood is warped and I've got a lot of body gap work ahead of me when I can afford a paint job and fender flares.
The driver door was cracked open, that door gap is perfect after a handlful of hours and body bushing shims.

Man its great to be able to drive it! Thats the best xmas present I've ever given to myself
