Nice Job! I hope you replaced your heater core when you had the dash out. I have to do mine
and considering how much has to come out I plan on doing an interior redo.

Gorgeous! Really coming along well. You even installed the steering wheel I want
Only thing I am not crazy about are the speaker boxes. Figured you would build some boxes for the upper corners with matching carpet for that "factory" look.
Keep up up the great work and the pictures coming!

Holy CRAP!! That must be the fastest restoration I've ever seen!
Car looks AMAZING! Which vendor did you go with on the interior parts?

I used Mid-America, Ecklers, and Corvette America. I have the slotted aluminum wheels still yet to put on.
While the car was at paint I prepared all the interior items so I could just install them when I got the car back. I spent about three days from 7am til 9pm putting everything back in.

Yeah...my 81 needs this treatment too but us "kids" of the forum have to wait a few years for some disposable income...we'll get there!

Looks great, can't wait to see it when you get the slotted alloys on it. Did you go with a 140mph speedometer or did you leave it at 85mph?

I left the original one in there.
I brought the car to get the wheels put on today but then realized I didnt have the right lug nuts. I ordered them today and they will be here Friday so the wheels will get put on Sunday.

Well I thought I might be done but just took a closer look at everything and found a few more projects ahead of me.
1. strip and repaint the spare tire cover and the v strap
2. get a new lower front spoiler.
I am sure more will come up
