I have a 1982 Corvette that is Silver and Charcoal. I would like to blend in the hood that has the clear coat oxidizing badly. I have been to the paint shop several times and cannot find the paint codes for the color. They are not in the glove box and the numbers next to the hinges on the door pillar does not mean anything to the paint shop. Anyone have any ideas. Bud
Nice looking two-tone Bud. The numbers on the trim tag (drivers door, by the hinges) may be throwing you because the 13 has a "U" and the 39 has an "L" beside them - that's upper and lower for the two-tone paint.
Have you got a set of stripes for the hood or are you going to have them painted on?
