Default Temp gauge not wking

68 427/390

I have the green wire from the alternator harness (area) is there a special end that goes on the wire that attaches to the sender?

Also is there a way to test it from there?. Couldnt I just heat up the sender and watch the gauge.

Do the gauges go out often?. Thx...

Default Temp Guage

Yes, there is a flat type terminal with insulator. This just slides onto the sending unit.

To test, Take the green wire and ground it - watch the guage, if it moves all the way over, it's the seding unit. If it does not move - it's the guage.
