I have a 75 and just bought t-tops off of a 73, are they adjustable the drivers side doesn't line up. I didnt get to into it to much today because it was 18 degrees out, but it is bugging me so I thought I'd try to find out. Thanks
Yes the T-Tops are adjustable. You can tightn the latches there is a nut that will move in and out also were they go into the center you can shim the pins.If you flip the top over you will see what I'm talking about. Good Luck
I saw a thread some time ago about adjustments. I'm in the process of replacing the stripping on my tops now. I did notice there werent may threads to back the bolts down but it looked like enough to do the job.
I did mine a few months ago and learned that you hae to move the pins in the opposite direction than you would think in order to get them to move in the direction you want them to.
If you have a shop manual there is a section on TTop alignment.
If you remove the interior header panel that will expose the inner inserts that go into the receiver holes on the center bar.
You can loosen the 3 screws a little and move and adjust the placement of the top and then center the inserts. nce all is good tighten the screws back.
Then re install the header panel.
Just in case needed.
There is 1 screw on the outer and inner side of the top.
Once both are removed the header panel should pull off , but ther are heavy duty velcro type fasteners that will have to be seperated.
