Default Newcomer,...with a few questions

Recently purchased a 1978 Silver Anniversary Vette, and was wonder if anyone knows anything about the exhaust manifold shields that Ecklers sells?
Secondly,...the seat shims that adjust the back upright postion,..is this something I can do myself,....or do I need a mechanic?
Would really appreciate any help, and I'm sure I'll have other questions in the near future.
This is my second corvette,...back in 1975 I had owed a 69 427, and really wished now that I hung on to it,....but live & learn.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

Not sure about the shields, but the seat back adjustment feet are threaded studs with rubber feet that rest on those bolt heads. Just spin them counter clockwise to extend them a little until the seat back is where you would like it to be.

In my '77, the originals were badly bent and gnarled. I bought a new set from a vendor and it fixed it right up.
